Hi, I'm Dafeney Josue. It's incredible how a combination of YouTube tutorials, wine, and a trip to Michael's has led me to today. Often considered a late bloomer, I didn't initially identify as an artist despite having a deep love for creativity while growing up. As a result, I pursued various career paths such as nursing, sales, etc. but none of them felt like the right fit.
However, in 2016, art made a resurgence in my life. Since then, I have actively immersed myself in the art community, art fairs like the Fiesta Fall Art Fair & exhibiting at A Perfect Union Gallery, Orlando City Hall, and Sobo Gallery to name a few. Additionally, I've been constantly pushing my creative boundaries by exploring different materials and mediums while specializing in acrylic.
Throughout this transformative journey, I've discovered the profound opportunity to express and celebrate black femininity in vibrant and captivating ways. Ultimately, your deepest desire is for everyone to unleash their inner radiance and embrace their true potential.
