"I See You" was created for the Discovery & Joy Youth Exhibition in 2023, a platform dedicated to showcasing the voices and perspectives of young people. This piece is a tribute to the countless individuals, especially children, who move through this world unnoticed, their voices unheard. In a society that often overlooks the marginalized, this work serves as a reminder of their existence, their worth, and their right to be seen.
 
The gaze of the figure in this painting represents the silent acknowledgment of those who feel invisible, shining light on the importance of recognizing and valuing every individual. Through this work, I aim to elevate the voices of children, especially those who are too often marginalized, encouraging a world where they are not only seen, but heard, embraced, and understood. Every child carries within them the potential for greatness, and it’s time we listen.
